MarketPlace Style: Exploring Textures at the Warehouse Sale

Customers spend hours at our warehouse sales exploring our huge individual selections.

This past Saturday, MarketPlace: Handwork of India held a warehouse sale at the Sojourner Church in downtown Evanston.  This is a favorite event of our many loyal local customers who come from miles around to scoop up beautiful items from seasons past at incredible discounts.

Stacks of slacks and tops to choose from.

MarketPlace keeps artisan wages generous and customer prices reasonable by keeping inventory low once a season is over. Warehouse sales are a great way for us to keep that inventory moving along. It is a joy to see the excitement and surprise on the day of the warehouse sale when customers encounter a room full of colorful dresses, tops, jackets, pants, skirts and home decor items!

Racks of dresses that flatter.

As always all our customers had fun trying on clothing and few people left without at least two or three purchases. Thank you to those who ventured out to see us and enjoy your purchases!
