Paula Laube of Solon, Iowa is the winner of the most recent Chicken Quilt raffle. “This is very exciting. I have always been a supporter of women’s issues and I may continue the story of the quilt by donating it to a local charity auction”.
Our other winners are the women artisans in India. We have been promoting their plays to people working in the field of Women’s Development and they are becoming recognized as talented actors. They have been invited to perform at events organized by Majlis, a non-profit organization that grew out of the Women’s Movement of the 1980s and works for the rights of women.
